Marcos Aldazabal
Marcos Aldazabal is a lawyer, specialized in Criminal Law. He graduated with honours from the University of Buenos Aires, where he also completed postgraduate studies. In addition, he obtained an LLM, with High Merits, from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. His professional practice focuses on highly complex cases, against both Federal and National Courts. His work also involves taking cases to International Courts. Additionally, he advises both public and private organisations, from Argentina and abroad. Previously, he worked at a Public Defender’s office, and was an advisor to the Argentine Honourable Chamber of Deputies and to the Honourable Senate of the Province of Buenos Aires. He is a partner of the Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales (CELS). He has been an Adjunct Professor at the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires, and is currently a Criminal Law Professor at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Marcos regularly lectures on conferences related to Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights. Marcos regularly publishes law articles in specialized journals. He is co-author of the book "Criminalización de la Política: Persecución Judicial de la Gestión Pública" (Hammurabi, 2021).
